- Purpose = employmentEmployee Card / EU Blue Card (residence permit) generally replaces the D visa for work >90 days; requires job offer/employment contract for a registrable vacancy. Scientists/researchers use a residence permit (since 31 July 2019).
- Purpose = studyAcceptance/enrolment letter from an accredited Czech educational institution plus proof of funds and accommodation.
- Purpose = family reunificationMarriage/birth certificate proving relationship; often a long-term residence permit for family reunification.
