Denmark has an embassy in Dublin, but intake is via VFS Global and the DECISION is made by the Royal Danish Embassy in LONDON (passport shuttled Dublin-London-Dublin). Denmark publishes extended processing up to 40 calendar days (from 27 Aug 2025), reduced to up to 25 days for complete applications received after 21 May 2026 — longer than the 15-day standard due to London routing. VFS service fee EUR 23.

DKK 350 per 24 hours, 'in principle', set by the administration under the Danish Aliens Act; applied via a case-by-case appraisal of the traveller's economic situation, accommodation and return options. Traveller must additionally prove means for the return journey. EUR equivalent approx at the ~7.46 DKK/EUR ERM II peg.
