- Employment (work) purposeAdd: Approval in Principle (AIP)/employment-licence letter from Jobsplus/Identita (apply within 60 days of AIP issue), VFS appointment letter, and Skills Pass Parts 1 & 2 if working in tourism/hospitality.
- Study purposeAdd: enrolment letter from an MFHEA-registered institution (course name, MQF level, ECTS, duration, hours, address) + proof of payment; funds of at least 75% of the national minimum wage per month of study; passport valid 10 months; apply at least 9 weeks before course start.
- Family reunificationAdd: family-reunification certificate issued by the Identita Expatriates Unit, sponsor's invitation letter, legalised and English-translated marriage/birth certificates, and the host's Maltese residence card & passport.
