Dublin is usually the only Irish centre; slots released in batches and disappear quickly, especially summer/holidays. Book 2-3 weeks ahead; realistically 2-4 weeks.
Application centre
VFS Global Dublin (visa.vfsglobal.com/irl/en/prt) for standard short-stay applicants. The Portuguese Embassy in Dublin gives priority appointments directly to EU-family-member applicants; others use VFS / the e-Visa portal.
